Library homeGeneral informationSpeaking at Council meetings
As part of our commitment to openness and improving the level of public participation in local government you can ask questions, and/or speak at most of our public meetings. You may ask questions on issues to be considered at meetings of the full Council, Executive Cabinet, and the Overview and Scrutiny Committee and each of its task groups set up to examine specific topics. In addition you may attend Development Control Committee meetings to speak either for or against development proposals. The process is set out in our Constitution which can be accessed via the link below. If there are any queries please contact the Council on 01257 515151 or email contact@chorley.gov.uk.
