Recommendations approved.

Reasons for recommendations:

1.    Currently only the Council Chamber has the technology required to facilitate hybrid meetings and to stream public meetings.

2.    For certain meetings, such a Governance Committee or Overview and Scrutiny Committee the preference would be to use a slightly less formal venue.

3.    The installation of the kit will enable the Council to hold simultaneous hybrid meetings in Chamber and Committee Room 1.

4.    Following the Covid-19 pandemic the Council have chosen to stream all public meetings and to offer the ability for participants to contribute via Teams.

Other options considered and rejected:

Not to install the technology. This reduces the flexibility in venue for meetings.
