Sustainability and Risk Management: Their support enhances energy efficiency, meets sustainability goals, and mitigates risks associated with utility management.

 

Current Contract: The current Gas contract comes to an end on 31st March 2025 and so it is urgent a new procurement is secured ahead of time. Also, the water spends for the council have never been procured, and so do not meet procurement guidelines.

 

Other options considered and rejected

The proposal was investigated to remain with the current provider for the procurement of utility contracts. This proposal was rejected for the reasons within the report.
