Decision details

1.         To approve placing an order to the value of £34,104.74 with Lancashire County Council for delivering a highway scheme on Brunswick Street which will deliver improved pedestrian links to the town centre.

2.         To approve further additional expenditure up to a total maximum value of £50k (inclusive of LCC works above) to deliver remaining element of Brunswick St works package to include signage and street furniture. 

3.         To approve the virement of £50k budget from the Steeley Lane Gateway capital projects budget to fund the works.

4.         To delegate authority to the Director for Business Development & Growth to authorise any subsequent variations, arising during the works, which can be contained within the scheme budget as set out in Appendix A.
