The Director of Planning and Development submitted six items for consideration. In considering the applications, Members of the Planning Committee took into account the agenda reports, the addendum and the verbal representations and submissions provided by officers and individuals.

It was proposed by Councillor Aaron Beaver and seconded by Councillor Peter Gabbott that planning permission be refused.

 

A vote was taken on the substantive motion first, and the motion was passed (8:4:0) that the decision be deferred to allow Members of the Planning Committee the opportunity to visit the site.

Members noted the report of the Director of Planning and Development which set out planning appeals and decisions received between 17 May and 7 June.

 

Three planning appeals were lodged and validated and one planning appeal was allowed.

1.    the report be noted

2.    the preparation and issuing of the Final Notification to BT and the Secretary of State be delegated to the Director of Planning and Development in consultation with the Chair and Vice Chair
