The Director of Planning and Development submitted three items for consideration. In considering the applications, Members of the Planning Committee took into account the agenda reports, the addendum and the verbal representations and submissions provided by officers and individuals.

After careful consideration, it was proposed by Councillor Danny Gee, seconded by Councillor Alex Hilton, and a decision was subsequently taken (12:1:0) that full planning permission be granted, subject to conditions in the report.

After careful consideration, it was proposed by Councillor Alan Whittaker that the application be deferred to allow Members of the Planning Committee the opportunity to visit the site. The motion was seconded by Councillor Gordon France.

 

It was proposed by Councillor Harold Heaton and seconded by Councillor Martin Boardman that planning permission be granted subject to conditions.

 

A vote was taken on the substantive motion first, and the motion was passed (7:6:0) that the decision be deferred to allow Members of the Planning Committee the opportunity to visit the site.

Minutes:

Cllr Boardman declared an interest on this item but was able to remain in the room as the report was for noting, meaning he did not partake in any decision.

 

Members noted the report of the Director of Planning and Development which set out planning appeals and decisions received between 16 April and 17 May.

 

Five planning appeals were lodged and validated, three planning appeals were dismissed, one planning appeal was allowed and one planning appeal was withdrawn.

 

One enforcement appeal decision succeeded in part but the otherwise the appeal failed, and the enforcement notice was upheld.
