It was raised that for item 3a) 20/01053/FULMAJ - Land South of Mercer Court And East Of Westhoughton Road, Adlington. It was Cllr Hilton to propose Officer recommendations and Cllr France seconded.

Resolved: Minutes were approved as amended and signed by the Chair.

The Director of Planning and Development submitted eight items for consideration. In considering the applications, Members of the Planning Committee took into account the agenda reports, the addendum and the verbal representations and submissions provided by Officers and individuals.

Planning permission granted subject to conditions.

Registered speakers: Councillor James Nevett (Ward Councillor) and Yunus Jiva (agent).

After careful consideration, it was proposed by Councillor Gordon France, seconded by Councillor Whittaker, that the application be refused.

A further proposal was moved by Councillor Alistair Morwood, seconded by Councillor Martin Boardman that the application was approved.

Upon being put to the vote, it was resolved (8:4:0) that the application be approved subject to conditions.
