Reasons for recommendation
Chorley Bowmen are to be granted a 25-year Lease for the pavilion at Wigan Lane. Ancillary to the Lease is the granting of a Licence for the car park and use of the playing field.
Chorley Bowmen have previously held a Licence on the land and have upheld their obligations to a high standard. They currently have a Licence to Occupy the pavilion to be demised under the Lease and the property to be demised under the licence pending completion of the Lease and new licence.
Other options considered and rejected
No other options are considered owing to the Licence to Occupy in place.
