21/06/2024 - Chorley Communities and Housing Review ref: 13824    Recommendations Approved

Decision Maker: Executive Member (Homes and Housing)

Decision published: 21/06/2024

Effective from: 02/07/2024

Decision:

Recommendations approved

Reasons for recommendations

There has been a thorough review of the service which included input from the staff team, Finance and HR.

Other options considered and rejected

The option to not carry out a service led review and leave all staff on existing Terms and Conditions and in the current structure was considered.  This was rejected because it does not support the corporate transformation programme to move staff to the new Terms and Conditions.  The current structure is not fit for purpose as it relies on ad-hoc, temporary arrangements to fill key posts.
