Reason for urgency:
This decision is to be taken under the Special Urgency Procedure because the funding must be spent by the deadline of 31 March 2022 otherwise it must be returned to the Government. The purpose of the funding is reducing vulnerability and supporting COVID recovery and if the money was to be returned it would not be in the interests of the residents of Chorley.
