The minutes of the last meeting of the Overview and Scrutiny Task Group – CSE held on 10 November were confirmed as a correct record.

Potential recommendations, 16/11/2016 Overview and Scrutiny Task Group - Child Sexual Exploitation pdf icon PDF 129 KB

Enclosed is a list of draft recommendations which has been created in response to discussion at previous meetings for consideration/amendment at the Task Group. 

Minutes:

Members of the task group considered the list of potential recommendations included in the agenda.

 

Councillor Kim Snape put forward further recommendations that centred round the Council offering support and help to develop CSE awareness campaigns with partners and continuing to raise awareness within the community.  The Head of Early Intervention and Support agreed that the additional conditions were of importance.  However, the wording of the conditions would need to be tailored to reflect the council’s roles and responsibility, and complement those of partner organisations. 

 

AGREED – The that recommendations detailed in the agenda and the additional recommendations put forward by Councillor Kim Snape (the wording for which to be revised by the Head of Early Intervention and Support to reflect the council’s roles and responsibilities and to complement those roles and responsibilities of partner organisations), be put forward for consideration by the Executive Cabinet.
