The Director of Planning and Development submitted four items for consideration. In considering the applications, Members of the Planning Committee took into account the agenda reports, the addendum and the verbal representations and submissions provided by officers.

After careful consideration, it was proposed by Councillor Gordon France, seconded by Councillor Alan Whittaker, and a decision was subsequently taken (11:1:1) that the decision be deferred to allow Members of the Planning Committee the opportunity to visit the site of the proposals.

After careful consideration, it was proposed by Councillor Martin Boardman that the decision be deferred to allow Members of the Planning Committee the opportunity to visit the site of the proposals. The motion was seconded by Councillor Aaron Beaver. A vote was taken, and the motion was lost (3:10:0).

 

It was proposed by Councillor Danny Gee, seconded by Councillor Chris France and a decision was subsequently taken (9:4:0) that planning permission be granted, subject to conditions in the report.

After careful consideration, it was proposed by Councillor Danny Gee, seconded by Councillor Tommy Gray, and a decision was subsequently taken (unanimously) that formal confirmation of the Order be made with modification. This affords permanent as opposed to provisional legal protection to the trees covered by the Order.
