Reasons for recommendations:
In July 2022, the Council approved a report seeking authority to take action to bring Chorley Lodge back into economic use. The terms reported below will facilitate the acquisition and allow the Council to carry out the renovation and bring the property back into economic use.

Other options were outlined in the Council but would involve costly and time-consuming legal action.
