Reasons for decision

 

 

The replacement mowers are required to ensure continuity of service.

 

A procurement exercise using an ESPO Framework has been undertaken and the winning supplier provides best value for the Council.

Not to replace the ride on mowers. This will likely incur increased costs if hire options are utilised to maintain service delivery. Not replacing will impact on service delivery as the service will not be able to meet current schedules and demands without replacement mowers.

 

To not award to any bidders and to restart the procurement exercise. Dependant on lead times, this may impact on delivery timescales. There are no guarantees that this would provide better value to the council.
